The Gift Of Sight Program

Dr. Steve Ferguson and the staff of Dunes Eye Consultants are excited to announce the introduction of a new program designed to help young people in our region. The Gift of Sight Program is designed to offer complimentary contact lenses and associated services to selected young patients nominated by their school nurse or counselor. Every two months a new student will be selected from the list of qualified nominees provided from the school. The patient receiving the contact lenses will have the opportunity to continue renewing the program annually until they graduate from high school at no expense to them.

The Gift of Sight Program has been an idea of the staff at Dunes Eye Consultants which has been discussed and conceptualized for some time. Adolescent youth stand to benefit the most from changes in visual performance and improved self-esteem by wearing contact lenses. It is our hope and belief we can help change a young person’s quality of life through this unique opportunity.
